1. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to agree, and use the Service only where lawful. If you act for an organization, you represent that you may bind it. The Service is not directed to children and no person under 18 may create or use an account.
You are responsible for checking laws, licenses, sanctions, export controls, surveillance restrictions, radio and communications rules, data-protection requirements, and source terms applicable to you and your location.
2. Accounts and access approval
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, do not share accounts, and notify the operator of suspected compromise. Registration does not guarantee access. Accounts may remain pending, require manual approval, or be denied.
We may require additional verification—including a government-issued photo ID—before granting or continuing access to sensitive features. If requested, a separate collection notice and designated secure submission method will be provided. Never send identification through ordinary email, chat, source-code issues, or unapproved forms.
Each acceptance is recorded with the legal version and time. Materially revised terms may require acceptance again before the console loads.
3. Service purpose and limits
The Service is intended for lawful education, research, journalism, situational awareness, software development, and authorized operational use. It is not an emergency service, dispatch system, official intelligence product, navigation authority, safety system, surveillance authorization, or source of probable cause.
Feeds may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, simulated, cached, stale, incorrectly geocoded, mislabeled, inferred, or unavailable. Markers do not prove a person’s identity, intent, presence, ownership, affiliation, or wrongdoing. Confirm important information with authoritative sources and qualified human judgment.
4. Security and feature controls
We may enable, disable, hide, rate-limit, place into maintenance, restrict, modify, or withdraw the Service, an account, a data layer, an integration, or an individual feature whenever reasonably considered necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, provider requirements, maintenance, abuse prevention, capacity, or product operations. We may do so without advance notice and, where permitted by law, without providing a reason.
We may preserve relevant records, investigate suspected misuse, require renewed verification, revoke sessions, impose a security lock, or permanently terminate access. No availability level or feature entitlement is guaranteed.
5. Third-party and open-source material
The application combines open-source software with public, licensed, or operator-supplied data. Open-source code does not convert third-party data into open data. Your use remains subject to provider licenses, attribution requirements, API rules, rate limits, copyright, database rights, privacy law, and other restrictions. Do not remove attribution, bypass provider controls, or represent third-party information as ours.
You grant us the limited rights needed to process commands, searches, settings, and content you submit solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service. You retain ownership of material you lawfully provide.
6. Enforcement, investigations, and legal process
Violations have consequences. We may warn, restrict, suspend, terminate, preserve evidence, notify affected providers or persons, seek injunctive relief or damages, and refer suspected unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities. We reserve all civil and criminal remedies available to the fullest extent permitted by applicable local, state, federal, and international law.
We may cooperate with law-enforcement, regulatory, court, emergency, national-security, or other lawful investigations and disclose information when required by valid legal process or when permitted by law to address a good-faith emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury. This does not promise unrestricted disclosure; requests remain subject to applicable law and appropriate review.
7. Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all data are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, availability, or safety. You assume the risk of using or relying on the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thunder Buddies Studios and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, or operations; or harm arising from third-party feeds, user misuse, outages, or inaccurate information. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to defend and indemnify the operator and contributors from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use, violation of these terms, or infringement of rights, except where prohibited by law.
8. Changes, termination, and general terms
We may update this legal bundle. The displayed version and effective date identify the governing text, and continued access may require a fresh affirmative acceptance. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. Applicable mandatory consumer and privacy rights prevail. Governing-law, venue, entity-address, and dispute-resolution terms must be completed by qualified counsel for the operator’s actual jurisdiction before commercial launch.
