THUNDERLINK · FRIENDLY HEADS-UP

Oh, crumbs—this globe needs a little more elbow room.

We’re really sorry! God’s Eye packs a very big world into one screen, and phones are just a bit too cozy for the controls right now.

Please come back on an iPad, tablet, laptop, or desktop PC. Your phone did absolutely nothing wrong. Promise. 💙

Why this project exists

ThunderLink God’s Eye is an open-source final community project created as we departed one online platform and moved toward another.

THE COMMUNITY

Many people in the community we were leaving were military enthusiasts and computer nerds. We understood that shared curiosity about technology, maps, aircraft, communications, and public information—and built this as a collaborative farewell project.

THE PRIVACY LESSON

Our departure followed an incident in which private community data was exposed. That experience motivated a defensive lesson: information people assume is hidden can be surprisingly easy to discover through public-facing APIs and open datasets. This project demonstrates that exposure so people can better understand and protect their privacy—not exploit someone else’s.

OPEN-SOURCE SCOPE

The platform combines public, licensed, or operator-supplied sources. It does not grant permission to bypass access controls, obtain private data, invade privacy, or violate a provider’s terms. Source data can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or removed without notice.

DO NOT USE THIS INFORMATION MALICIOUSLY.

Do not use ThunderLink God’s Eye to stalk, harass, intimidate, identify or target vulnerable people, facilitate violence, evade lawful authorities, trespass, interfere with emergency or military operations, or support any unlawful act. It is not operational intelligence, an all-clear, or a substitute for official sources. You are responsible for lawful, ethical use and for respecting privacy, consent, safety, and local regulations.
